Funding Sources in Metro Atlanta

Accion USA - a private nonprofit organization that provides credit to "microentrepreneurs" - low and moderate-income self-employed women and men.

Amen - a Christian based organization whose goal is to help individuals in the recovering and general communities, to overcome resource barriers that prevent entrepreneurial opportunities.  Amen provides capital to selected businesses through equity funding.  Maximum funding amount can reach up to $15,000.

Atlanta Micro Fund - a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and a US Small Business Administration micro loan intermediary, providing funding and small business management assistance.

BusinessLinc Community Loan Fund - A Certified Community Development Entity (CDE) with the U.S. Department of Treasury dedicated to providing low-cost, financing for small business and non-profit community development organizations that are local in low-and moderate-income communities.

Dekalb Microenterprise Institute - an organization whose mission is to provide business development training and financial services to Dekalb County residents who would like to start a business and/or who need assistance in expanding a business.

Dekalb Enterprise Business Corporation - a nonprofit business development organization, providing funding and technical assistance to new and existing for profit businesses.

Georgia Small Business Capital - Florida Business Development Corporation (FBDC) dba Georgia Small Business Capital is the most active certified development company in the state fiscal year 2005.  We assist healthy, growing small businesses, secure long-term, below market, fixed-rate financing for acquisition of fixed assets.  We also provide financial assistance and advisory services to companies considering the possibility of selling their businesses or contemplating an acquisition or merger.

Score Chapter 48 - is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).  Score operates in cooperation with the SBA to provide business owners with information vital to their success, including counsel on financing options.

Summit National Bank - Summit’s mission is to make managing finances and creating wealth easy and enjoyable for small and entrepreneurial businesses and their owners by providing culturally sensitive services and simplifying complex products.

Women's Economic Development Agency, Inc. - is a Technical Assistance Provider for SBA's Community Express program and originates and packages SBA-guaranteed micro-loans up to $75,000.
