Financing available for startups and micro-enterprises.  Maximum funding amount can reach up to $15,000.

Criteria for individuals recovering from substance abuse:

 

  • Have maintained a drug free status for a minimum of two years
  • Living independent of recovery programs
  • Lifestyle stable enough to participate in AMEN training process
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Clear legal status
  • Realistic small business concept
  • Mandatory Orientation
  • Mandatory Business Planning Program (6 months)

 Criteria for general population:

 

  • Inability to secure traditional funding (i.e. banks, loan organizations, SBA…etc)
  • General Income challenges
  • Lifestyle stable enough to participate in AMEN training process
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Clear legal status
  • Realistic small business concept.
  • Mandatory Orientation
  • Mandatory Business Planning Program (6 months)

All potential participants must complete an application packet, which contains the following:

 

  1. AMEN Recommendation Form
  2. AMEN Application
  3. 16-PF Personality Profile

Candidates are required to call the AMEN office (404) 875-7677 and provide a contact number.  An AMEN staff member will contact you within 72 hours for your initial telephone screening session.
