ACCION USA is a nonprofit organization that lends to small business owners who cannot access traditional sources of business credit. Over the past 40 years, the ACCION family of microlending institutions has made over $4 billion in small loans to over 2.7 million people worldwide including more than 8,000 small business owners in the United States. ACCION USA works with the self-employed to help them grow their businesses and strengthen their communities. ACCION USA is willing to work with formal and informal businesses with varying degrees of financial records, small loan requests, and past credit problems.

ACCION USA Loans:

•  No fee to apply.
• Installment loans; interest-only loans; balloon loans.
• Lines of credit for qualified borrowers.
• Loans from $500 to $25,000 for established businesses, with first time loans up to $15,000.
• Loans of up to $10,000 for start-up businesses in operation less than 1 year.
• 12.5% annual interest rate will save money over high interest credit cards; lower rates available for repeat borrowers.
• 3-36 month terms available.
• No penalty for pre-payment

 Our Quick and Easy Application Process:

•  We pride ourselves on quick, accommodating, and personalized service.
• Submit your completed application by mail or fax and we will call you to set up a preliminary loan interview by phone within two business days.
• Most approved ACCION clients receive their loan within three weeks upon completing their application.

 Flexible Eligibility Criteria:

•  Loans available for most business purposes. Applicant must be owner of business.
• Business can be formal or informal, licensed or unlicensed, home-based or based anywhere outside the home, including street vendors.
• Businesses need not have formal financial records, tax returns, or long term history of operation.
• Start-up businesses should present a business plan with financial projections and demonstrate knowledge/experience in proposed business field.
• Client must be at least 21 years old.
• Collateral and/ or cosigner generally required.
• Restrictions apply for working capital loans, severe credit issues, and certain loan uses.
• ACCION USA reports to all major credit bureaus to help you build your credit history.
